'house in the field' has a number of quirky benches situated around the grounds to make the most of the amazing countryside views .

Each month offers something new and exciting from the wild flowers meadows in May to the golden fields of sunflowers in July, the long hot days of August and the migrating swallows in September.

Feel free to explore the private and public woodlands all around us. 

Have a game of croquet, scandanavian skittles, water polo or simply unwind around your private pool on those long hot summer days while enjoying a relaxing spa or beauty treatment  which can be arranged prior to your arrival.

You won't want to go home!

Beyond the pool, is a luxury 5m bell tent with coir matting, double air mattress, romantic lights, bunting and candles providing an additional glamping experience for any of our guests who might like to sleep out under the stars! 

There is a small charge for tent bedding but the use of the tent is complimentary!

There are binoculars for keen birdwatchers and this year's visitors have included a pair of golden oriels (who enjoyed our fig trees) hoopoes and flocks of migrating swallows who spent a few days with us before heading south!

Enjoy an evening swim, stargaze or have a sunset BBQ finishing off with  toasted marshmallows over the firepit.

And if all else fails, you will find books, board games, CD's DVD's, Freesat UK TV and wifi.
